Touched…

The story I am about to copy and paste here came from a woman who on Feb 3 I did not even know her name.

Mrs. X happens to be a good friend of the bride who’s wedding I covered in October, some may remember Cassandra & Ray’s post, if you are new here take a look.

I received her message after she had seen some of Cassandra’s images, her story left me in awe and now after chatting some more, we are making it right for her and Mr. X

Please read on and remember this came from someone who hasn’t even met me in person or has worked with.

Thank you Mrs. X for your kindness,

I was so touched and I think I am printing your story and framing it, to look at everyday and know that what I love doing can make a huge difference in someone’s life!

Mrs. X story:

A wedding is such a defining moment for the two people getting married, though there is usually so much happening that you don’t remember it all.

You stand there, in front of God and everyone, making promises while everything around you fades to black, and it’s just the two of you and your vows.

A good photographer will make or break those memories. Believe me, I know.

I got married three weeks prior to Cassie & Ray, and between the venue prohibiting us from going around the building for pictures and the inexperience of the photographer we hired, we came away from our VERY expensive wedding in shock, disbelief and tears.

It was really an awful experience, and I couldn’t wait for it to just be over so I could cry without an audience.

When the photographer called me the day after our wedding, to apologize for fighting with management and causing a scene, and to further apologize for “not getting any shots that were portrait-worthy”, I knew we’d never have photos we’d want to look at. And I was right.

I am so happy for Cassie having found someone who could bring those memories to life, because when you cry angry tears looking at your wedding photos, it’s not a good feeling.

She is a sweetheart, and I am happy she will never know that feeling.

I will always recommend you to people looking for a photographer for weddings, boudoir, etc… Your work is outstanding, you clearly care about the job you do and the people you do it for, and it shines through in your beautiful images.

Mrs. X I dedicate the bountiful beauty of this Orchid to you
