The New York Botanical Garden annual Holiday Train Show exhibit Pt.1

Welcome!

It has a been a little while since my last post, been busy with outings, shoots

and  for those who do not know, being a recent caregiver to my mom whom

is now 80 and had to move in with me, she is doing better for those who knew about this.

Thank you all for your support in this time of huge changes in both our lives.

Now on with my post, I recently visited, as the title indicates the NYBG for their annual holiday show.

I won’t bore you with chit chatter so on with the show, first up the bridges, iconic buildings of NYC

all made up of natural materials such as wood, twigs, moss and many other particles, and some greenery of the garden.

It is amazing to see the workmanship of these as you will witness.

Then we ended up in the Nolan Greenhouse to view my birthday month (November) flower the Chrysanthemums. Pt 3 of post

There are many images I want to share so please click on each to see full size.

Enjoy!

  1. I can’t believe what these scenes are made of. I especially like the lighthouse and the statue of liberty. Wish I could have been there!
